I see a lot of guys out there wearing german helmits, some black some chrome. Rockin out with either one of the two symbolizes something. Who can give me the correct answer to what that represents...

these helmets are novelty helmets and don't even look exactly like the originals. I don't think chrome would have been very tactical in WWII. I have one and the only reason I wear it is because it's different and it attracts attention...along with riding one wheel

OK for the most part those of you that have given an effort on answering seriously you are on the right track... 100 years ago there was a guy that was king of new york his name was wink 1100. he was renouned in all of the burrows and was a street legend among all of us... He demanded his respect---- Wink always rocked out with the chrome dome and it was known if you came to new york wearin a chrome dome and couldnt scrape your **** you would definatly get it taken away from you-- possibly loose your bike and most definatly get beat up... It was and still is in my opinion a great fasion satatement and a great way to regulate posers...
