incognito gear...

i dont have enough money to buy a complete wardrobe of armored out gear right now.. so i was curious is there any such thing as long john type kevlar protection for wearing under your jeans/hoodies? i hear jeans will melt to your legs and arent a whole let better of than just wearing shorts. any help greatly appresciated

60 mph didn't go through my jeans, I think they do good, but situation like the road was damp(partial reason to going down) and smoother surface helped me out.

i wear a dainese body suit under my clothes. its low profile and gives you plenty of protection. it goes for $300 but nock offs are around $150. it looks super pimp too when your doing highway standups and your shirt lifts up. the turtle shell hangs out. can you say gansta

I got armoured everything but pants, I've been checking out the draggin jeans, but don't want to part with $100 for a pair just yet. ($100 can buy a lot of e-bay crap at this point) Let me know what sort of retail price you are going to come up with.

I can give my daughter her rollerblade knee pads back then.

jeans work sometimes.....ironicaly they didn't for me. Went down around 80-90, my jeans ripped right through the knees. Got some nice roadrash on both knee's. (GAP jeans suck for stunting).

ERICGSXR, if your lookin for protective pants go for the SPEEDRAG pants, cheaper than Joe Rocket, and nicer in my opinion.

at high speeds you have a good chance of getting jacked no mater what your wearing. But leather probably helps

Thanks for the link. I checked it out and yeah, they are around $10 cheaper. However, that shimmery black color kind of puts me off. they won't match my black leather joe rocket jacket at all, and if I walk into a restaurant, I'll look like a cowboy, motorcycle cop, an indian, and the rest of the village people should be following me. At least the draggin jeans look some what like a pair of jeans, and I won't get beat up when I walk into applebees.

Don't get me wrong, they looked nice, it's just that I've go so much invested in all the Joe rocket gear, and I don't like the joe rocket pants at all, so I'm still leanin towards the draggin jeans, now, if I could just find a pair on e-bay for $50, (I'm a tight wad like that...)

We have looked at doing a jean, but everyone is doing them now. Jeans may be what the riders want, but the fact of the matter is, they just dont sell in motorcycle shops. As far as protection goes, cordura is 20 times more abrasion resistant than denim. So, for the best protection, a nylon cordura pant (or a leather) is best. We make our pants baggy enough so riders can put knee/shin guards underneath. Our cordura pants do come with removable hip pads though. we are working on a summer version of these pants as well. I didnt know they were that shiny? We may end up doing a jean, but it will be way different from anyone elses.
