Adidas commercial
Adidas commercial
Have any of you seen the Adidas commercial that has a sportbike riding a wheelie through traffic? I just saw it tonight and thought that it was cool as hell that they included street stunt in a mainstream commercial like Adidas running shoes. I think it's starting to catch on.
I'm pretty sure it was on ESPN during the Miami game. I remember the Kobe one too. This one has a shorter clip of the motorcycle, but it's pure stunna style. Looks like it was in filmed NYC maybe.

commercial and video
I saw the adidas comm. w/ the gixxer gittin' 'er done on MTV tonite, also triple xtreme have the lil kim vid they did downloadable at their site-p.s. check out stunt designs , the site is gittin' some major revamping-D
I was flipping channels last night and saw the last .0002 seconds of what looked like a gixxer in a wheelie. sure enough.. adidas commerical.
not that my two cents mean anything.. but i'm actually kindof dreading the way this sport is gonna "blow up." i'd like to see stunting, and sportbike stuff thrust into the mainstream in a good light, but i'm willing to give good odds that MTV and every other major movie studio will take it the way of the Fast and The Furious untill every idiot richkid 17 y/o is buying a gixxer or a blade to try and bust 12's on.
Kind of like when you were really into some cool underground band that you liked purely for their musical talent.. and then they blew up, which is what you wanted for them, but in blowing up they inevitably went all mainstream and then every fat kid in the shopping mall was wearing a t-shirt with their logo on it, and now you're ashamed to say you even own any of their albums.
so, um.. ambivalence from me. $.02.

yup, i agree with you. i really would like to see it stay on the underground, and be a sport for those who are fairly tight with the scene; but, the stunt world is growing. most still dont know about the stunt-life, and its probably better that this is true. the man doesnt like stunters ( well, some police do).
