Talking I just heard the dumbest chit in a while...

Ok, I'm cruising the R1 Forum(dunno why cuz it sucks), and I come across this thread about rolling burnouts. So I read the first reply, and this brit basically said to pull the clutch in, pin the throttle, stand up over the front and dump it. He said you shouldn't feather it because you'll hurt the clutch... Dayumm, I think the clutch is the least of his worries... Some people scare me with the advice they give!

Thats sounds like some good advice . How are you guys breaking it free for a rolling burnout? When I do em I grab some front brake and hear the engine bog a bit, then I just give the clutch a quick slip and bam I'm smokin. Just wondering if you guys a dif technique.

A lot of people on the R1-forum dislike stunting and post stuff like that.

We get people posting "How do I wheelie in 1st gear?"

"uhm clutch all the way in - rev limiter - dump the clutch"

And if they beleive that. It's natural selection at it's finest

Wink does love those rev limiter, feet out rolling burn outs for a block.

I just put pressure on the front brake, pull the clutch into the 'slip zone" & nail it. brakes out every time.

Nice man, I was just wondering if there was another way that anybody else was doing it. I've never had anybody to teach me any of the **** I can do so I just kinda wing it, crash and go harder the next time. I found this forum a little late, woulda helped me a bunch, but there is still so much more **** on here I haven't even read yet.
