rear brake on the clip on?

someone told me they make a thumb brake for the left clip on. it was invented by a stunt rider way back in the day who lost his foot or someting so they made on thats like a thumb throttle off a wheeler but its a brake for the rear.......thoughts????

Pretty sure it was invented by the Moto GP guys to help them back it into corners... specifically right hand corners where you can't use the pedal.

I've always wanted one to be honest... for racing - though they aren't allowed in the 600cc race classes. I think it would be good for 12s, but I certainly can't say I have any experience with those kinds of things. Yet.

it'd be too hard to work the clutch and brake at the same time

Dude your probably closer tahn you think. Ive only been riding for 2 years and I crash alot but I also learn fast. Until you just finally commit to something and try it youre only fooling yourlself. I crash, I get hurt, but I always learn what Im going after. I know it sounds gay but just have a little faith in yourself and youll be suprised what you can do. Also start riding with someone of your skill or better otherwise youll never have anyone to push you over the edge. Sorry for being a preacher about it sudt trying to help a brother out. Not saying Im good but if you get stuck on anything and I can do it just drop me a pm and Ill tell ya what I do and mabey itll help you. Hell youll probably be better than me by next year and Ill have to beg you for advice.lol

Peace out and Keep em up high

when your gearing is close to stock its harder to use engine braking to bring it down (high chair, tank wheelies) a few guys in our crew have them... we just used like a bicycle handbrake and wired it to the lever coming off the back brake... i think 4 guys on our team have them
