i shattered my ankle at the starboyz long island comp on 8/31/03.
really screwed me up, i make my living selling bikes, almost all my hobbies revolve around riding something too. for 6 weeks i had to surround myself with people having fun and all i could do was watch. i had a huge cast on my leg that sucked sooooooobad. the other week i was jonezin so bad to ride i rigged a string to my buddies bike i had to pull on to shift, cause my cast wouldn't fit under the shifter. anyhow i went to the docs today and he was blown away how fast i healed( flintsones vitamins and milk, i guess) and i got the ok to ride again.
now for the tuff part getting the bike rideable. i am sure it won't take me long. anyhow see you all riding soon

 

hey i feel ya man...i just got back on my bike about 2 weeks ago after puncturing my spleen back in mid august. it sux cuz i would hang out w/ the riding crew and video and sh*t but it sucked hardcore. good to hear you are riding again goodluck
