look at all the others and see what you like and dont like and go from there with your imagination. Ryan built all of ours and we run two braces coming back and they are tough as hell. You should see the abuse Ryan's takes.

I have a 2000 gixxer 750 as well and would like to find out if its cheaper to build one or buy one. I already believe in FI cages....they are worn by all the major teams. I have been trying all summer to get one of those FI cages on my bike through one of their sponsored teams(www.unsaneryderz.com), but it just hasn't worked out for me yet. Ah there's always next summer.

p.s. Carms and Shugga keep 'em on the straight and narrow!

The cages you buy, Ill use Freestyle Ingenuity for an example (of course hehe)... They have been making them for quite some time and have been improving and improving off thier original design ever since. So you dont have to break your bike seeing if your new design works right.

Also its good to help out the industry when we can. By spending your money with FI, StarBoyz, StuntLife, Colbert, etc etc etc You keep it in the industry. The more money we all have the more we can do and give back to benefit the community.

Thats just my personal opinion though.

thanx for the quick response. the only reason i ask is because ive heard alot of bad things about FI. of course that kind of go's with everything .......not every body's gunna have the same experience or opinion thus some luv it sum hate it! also it seems like it could be done for a WHOLE lot cheaper then what these things are going for.

You're right...and everyone's crash is diff so therefore diff things happen on impact.
I didn't want to spend the $ on the cage BUT I want to protect my investment as much as possible and I counted on 3 big expenses to protect me & the bike = damper + cage + gear!
PEACE OUT! post up pics when you get er done!!
