to all you 900 dubba r stunters

how is it? all i hear about is how they are pimp stuntbikes then i hear carbs are **** for 12s and no one will give me a straight answer. does your dubba r bog or die on 12s and ****? i lost the tiller and want a 929 but so many of the biggest names stunt a 900 dubba r. so whats the deal. what years are . ive never stunted a carbureted bike but there are a ton of you out there pimpin the 900rr and i could save myself a couple K if i get a 900 instead of a 929. let me know

RR

RR= nice n stable, bogs and dies when parked unless you modify it, i think it tank slaps a lil easy on stoppies at descent speeds. i love my bike n all, but if i had a choice, i would rock a 929. bikes are just the ****!

900s are awesome for stunting, by far the most stable bike out there, but they wont run for very long on the bar, just rollin slow stuff they are fine, but at true 12oclock they die after about 7-8 seconds. I've heard that if you raise the floats they will stay running, haven't tried it yet.

my 900 would stay running for 100 - 150 foot drags, then ride them away. the carb was just dialed in 100%. Great bike. Just had to keep the tank full to keep it from starving for fuel.

i rock a 929 and have no problems at all...i was thinking about getting a 900rr for another bike but i'm not sure about the same thing you are.

the only thing about about 929's is you can't find front rims!! haha...i've been looking forever. 900rr's have more parts. 929's have a lot of parts i've found so far, just no rims nad that's what i need.

Wouldn't stunt the RR just because of the more engine problems. Spinning the number 3 cylinder/rod/bearings, whatever it is. Everyone I know that owns one has had to replace at least one engine for this. The 929 seems to have a lot more reliable engine, only problem is that they both headshake, lol. Stunt the 929, I want one, but I love my gixxer to much

ya, headshake on them is a bitch.

but i've had TONS of friends that lock up motors on gixxers, i love them but i couldn't ride one for that fear.
