WOW! got a response from CBS

"Chad

Thank you for writing. We are not saying that all sportbiking is bad or
that all sportbikers are reckless. We were reporting on a developing trend.
We have done many stories on the dangers of SUVs and other vehicles. There
are many dangers on the road. The story was fair and balanced and did not
intend to imply that all sportbikers were like the ones shown in the piece.

The CBS Evening News Staff"

i did send them another letter trying to give them a little more insite as to why we were upset but im not sure if they even care.

is interesting that the responded though....

awsome general response.. i love it. I'm sure they got a ton of emails after airing that, and came up with that generic response.

Damn, I guess I wasn't even good enough to get the generic response.

Maybe that's because my email wasn't very nice

cal is a decent person
someone who saw the show should make a generic email for them, then allllll of us will flood them with emails, use different subjects and each send it 5 times

I love the generic letter they used and I wonder why not do a follow up story on just stunting as a sport not on highway safety.
