Go to a fabric store and get the Urban Camo, it is blue white and gray. That is fabric not paint. Then go to Home Depo or something like that and get the spray on glue. Set asside about 4 hours of your time to do it right and make sure it is either warm where you are doing it or just warm.
Hit me up with a PM if you need any help with it, I've done it before.

I think it would probly screw up your paint a little (leave alot of glue residue & fuzz behind) Dont most people fur/fabric their fairings when they are really f'd up though? If your worried about your paint, Im just assuming its not in that bad of shape now.
(btw 3m '57' spray on glue will stick anything together, just let it get a little tacky first)

I'm going to have to go with XPnugget on this one. If you just got the bar and the cage, you are pretty much **** up a creek with saving your plastics.
If you are worried though, it doesn't do anything to your paint, there is a residue and some fuzz left if you just pull it off, but a can of GooGone will solve that problem.
Again though, just starting on 12's kiss the pretty bike days goodbye.
