Would the higher altitude affect the way the bikes run?

ALTITUIDE AFFECTS!

Hell yes it does. I just got back from Texas Sea Level. I ride the 636 ninja 2003. When I was down there I could do stand up wheelies no clutching it all the way through 4th gear. When I am in Colorado I have to clutch everything from second gear and on. The air is thinner. You speed on the highway. barely feel any wind density. You loose about 30-40% horse power when you are in Colorado. Still able to stunt in Colorado though! www.eaheer.com

Get More Power!

It is very tipical to see bikes in Colorado supped up. Most if not all bikes are piped and set for the altitude. Just to make up for the loss of power! www.eaheer.com

Going to try and hook one up!

From the results of this poll. I am going to see if I can get one together. Hopefully it will be more organized then the one at the Texas Bike Bash!

The altitude can be compensated for with a Power Commander.... For those that might not know....

POWER COMANDOR!

That is what I am saying. I got a pipe and full exuast system, then a power comandor as well. All I am saying is most people in or around sea level don't have to do this. Most just get like a pipe ro something like that. But most of us in Colorado get everything we can to compensate for the altitude. www.eaheer.com
