Post R.I.P. Whitey

I barely got to know Whitey, but what I knew of him was that he was a very cool guy. I only rode with you guys one time, & it was a blast. When we stopped in Portland for a soda break & I started asking you guys questions about how you do this stuff, you guys didnt have any problems with giving me pointers on this stuff, & I really appreciate that alot. My riding skills have improved because I listened to you & Whitey. When I was riding my cbr600 I would see you guys go wheelieing by,, but I didnt know who you were. I usually saw just Whitey by himself, (probably on his way to your house), I didnt know who he was, so I just called him Rocket_Man. I will use that handle here (and other places) in rememberance of Whitey, he will be missed by all of us riders at the shop, (you know who we are). Next spring when you get your bike out, I'll be there on my 954. We will all be there.
Later Bro

I will always remember the first time I saw whitey. I was standing out in front of work & he came by standing on his seat with his bike pointed at the sky. I was hooked!! I wanted to be an extreme rider. Then on July 4th i finally got to meet the guys i would soon know as the extreme elite. They were very cool guys who were interested in other peoples bikes and didn't care about their skill level. From that day on i did everything i could to ride with them, hoping one day i could become one of the ELITE. Anyway what i am trying to say is this- on Nov 9 I not only lost a friend but also a mentor. some one i looked up to because god danm he could ride. So Jim, I'm looking forward to spring in hopes of riding with you again. Give me a call when you are ready to fire up that 954 of yours. I'll be there!! And to whitey- when i pull the sv out of storage this spring for my first ride of '03 i will lay down some rubber and stand that bitch on the rear wheel in honor of you. R.I.P. bro. TIM

Sucks

Mortality, huge word. Sucks. Really sorry about Whitey! I ride to burie my thoughts about mortality. Very real word, dead, it is a state you can't return from. Hell, be safe! For Fucken sure, be safe. If Whitey is alive in your thoughts then he's right next to you. **** I don't wanna Die anytime soon. Take chances almost every time I go out. Probably 2 close calls last summer. One of them almost got me. **** that, I won't make that mistake again. What mistake won't I make again next season, the one I learn from or the one that takes me out. Anyway I just had some thoughts on this, Whitey will be missed don't let his death be in vain try to take someting away from this. Much Love to everyone feeling his loss.

I hate hearing this stuff...

I lost my best friend in a stunt show 1 1/2 years ago. Its hard. Especially knowing he was better and safer than I!

I didnt really know Whitey, but I did meet him at the 1096 track day. Makes it really hit home when you see everyone in a group picture and realize one of the guys is gone.

RIP God Bless....

Unhappy

My Condolences as well, although ive never had the pleasure, i felt the need to write this, no avid rider wants to hear a story like that, something that couldve been avoided if he just took a second more to look, loss of life, inadvertantly stings regardless how it's lost, but loss of life in the height of enjoying such, stings twice as much!! creates a certain angry feeling that ends deep in our chests, right by our hearts, i feel for you as his cousin/best friend cause i've been there, but dont have the words for his parents

RIP Whitey,

show them all up there how its done!!
