F4i as a stunt bike??????

I know this questions gets asked 5 thousand times a day.

But, no one is a bigger 900RR fan than myself. But, the other night I totaled my 900 bad, things wasted. So last night I was down the practice spot and I stole my boys 2002 F4i that is -1 +5 and I fell in love. It came up like my 900, balanced like my 900, the rear brakes were better & the fuel injection F'n rocked.

Within 2 passes I was doin' no throttles 1/2 our spot - coastin, doin gansta seat standers - lovin' the bike.

I figure I can pick up a F4i that has been down for cheap money & gear the poop outta it.

I know Merk & Emrock represent the F4i's and so does Zack from DTE (or was) and they tear the **** otta em.

anyone else stunt one hard? Likes, dislikes.

thoughs joints are tight been riding one for about 5 months, got no throttles, no hands, parking, apehanger, etc you can do everything, -2+5 is where i m at no top end but all the low end power you need to slow tricks, stock exhaust hits the ground first though if you try to 12 so watch out

DV8Raaz took mine for a spin, and had no problem pullin slow wheelies right off the bat. From what he said, it's an easy bike to wheelie. (mine is still stock gearing)

If you do go that route, get a steering damper, they are twitchy

I'm learning on mine right now. I'm just having trouble getting past my gut instinct to put the wheel back down.

I've heard that they leak coolant from the resevoir when past 11:30 though, and they are known for bad cam chain tensioners FYI.

yeah, the cam chain tensioners do suck, just went through my second factory tensioner, putting on a manual aftermarket tensioner now, only like 80 bucks, other than that the bike kicks *** but it still aint no 900

Get the 929!!! I was sick of refilling my 900RR so it wouldnt sputter when 12'n. I rode a buddies F4i..then bought a 929. It feels the same (as the F4i) except it has MADD power over the 900 and the front brakes kick azz.

I wish I would have got the loan for the 02 F4i I was looking at. Ended up getting a 97 GSXR 750. And I love the fact that a million people arent rocking F4i's.

ive had a good few hours to really rip on the F4i w/ my new gearing & its off the hook. Ive got all my tricks back from my 900 and more. The rear brakes are SO nice on the F4i, the fuel injection rocks - and the -2+16 is nasty ****.

Ive got my seat standers 1 speed straight up & down, coasters way further than I could on my 900, no throttles right back (altough i do have to run a higher idle than my 900). Over all nice & happy w/ this beast.

i was so used to keeping a full tank on my 900 so it didn't stall, i can run this thing dry before it sputters.

Stock can got in the way, so i cut it in 1/2 w/ a sawz-all.
