Re: $30 Dollar hand brake!!!
Hydraulic Clutch out of a TM Dirtbike. It is a very small lever almost like a BMX, Then 4' of braided line + a double banjo bolt to rear master cylinder. :YEAH $120. Lever + Line & Banjo Bolt.

Has this been tested yet, or just an idea?

I routed the cable to the rear master cylinder and welded a nut on the steel part of the brake lever and a perch for the cable off my www.freestyleingenuity.com cage so when you pull the lever it's pulls your rear brake pedal down, I'm not sure if it works as well as a hydraulic unit but it works well enough to do a 5-10 mph feet over and parking shouldnt be a problem, plus all the other hand brake tricks, slow flamingo's, spreaders etc. here's some pics of my setup

Does enyone have do's pic's
I can't see them..
i'm now trying it with a blackbird caliber..
because it has two exits for the dual brake.
then i will use the outer piston's for the back brake.
and the mid piston for the thumb brake.

Re: $30 Dollar hand brake!!!
Darius made it easy. I went the pain in the *** route with trial and error. I ended up using a GSX-R750 fr. master cylinder mounted upside down, and the GP Tech fitting on the rear master cylinder with the stock (single) rear caliper. It works good enough to do slow seat standers, but I haven't tried it with highchair stuff yet.

Re: $30 Dollar hand brake!!!
this guy makes sick handbrakes, and you won't need to worry about trusting your little garaged together mcgyver riggings.
www.fullthrottleinc.net
his handbrake setup has a billet reservoir that bolts on where the heelguard would normally be.
i hate handbrakes and think they're gay, but this set-up works perfectly if you're into it...i've been riding a demo version for the mag (www.2wtmag.com), and i must say, it works perfectly.
