your question

Jared, I may be the last one to explain this to you but I will try to in terms that I understand. In a nut shell, crankshaft horse is what your engine puts out at the crankshaft, I Rear wheel is what all of us really care about, crankshaft horse really means nothing, its rear wheel horse that is what a bike actually produces to the ground. So, at the crank take everything the bike uses for energy iee.. pistons firing and moving up and down, the crank turning, and about 100 other things that I have no idea about all happen to make the shaft of the bike turn, this is what your front sprocket is connected to. So turn the sprockets, which turn the chain, which then turn the tire, all this uses power and energy which decreases horsepower. You can take 20-30 horsepower away from crankshaft to rear wheel depending on the bike, depending on the dyno and depending on what faze the moon is at. So if a 929, R1, and 1K, all put out 125, 130, and 140 rear wheel horse those bikes at the crank put out around 150, 155, 170 crankhorse, (ballpark) Hope this helps.
