i stunt a 97 f3, it has -2 and +12 sprockets. i like it for stunting cuz the parts are cheap and easy to find. im not sayin im gonna take over the stunt game on it but its defianetly (sp?) a fun toy. only things i dont like about it is the welded on subframe cuz eventually its will probably give out on 12ves and bend..oh well nuttin a little JB Weld some zip ties, and some duct tape couldnt take care of and i also dont really care for the seat..

problems!!

I dont know if you street stunt or parking lot stunt, but these are some of the problems i had with my 91. When doing highway wheelies it ran outta oil about 2 miles into the wheelie. Also from doing stoppies and wheelies i had to redo the forks all the time. Plastics dont tend to hold up very well also. Going slow sucks as the seats dont have the support as say a 900rr.

Pros; it was very nimble for me to ride. I could move that bike around more than any other bike. It rocked rolling burnees very controlable as of lack of power. I could do highway wheelies at any speed i wanted as it was so easy to chose speed by weight transfer. It has a nice center of gravity for stoppies also. Parts are cheap even tires as they run a smaller size. Dont expect to go fast as it wont be a rocket.

I've got a '98 F3 with -1 +1 sprockets and it still takes some work getting this thing in the air.

so far my team has a f3 and an f2 and this weekend we are going to pick up 2 more f3's....they are awsome. steel frames so you can weld to them easily (unlike hte harder to weld aluminum).

so far on the f3 we have, there have been no problems. you have to fill about 1/2 quart more oil (as we do any any other bike we stunt) and it keeps the engine from having problems.

the forks, same thing, not any more than a normal bike, i redo them more on my 929 than wiggins does on his f3.

overall if you find older ones they are great bikes to have, cheap to repair. all aorund good stunt bikes.

I have no problem stunting my f3. It's got +3 rear sprocket and a micron full system. Best thing it has on it are it's brakes...they are kick ***. Currently I can ride out 1st gear power ups (obviously), bounce up 2nd gear standups, some stoppies, and clutch up 2nd gears (alllmost third). Anyone clutching up 3rd gears on these? I just wanna know if it's do-able before i totally screw my clutch

**** the clutch.....seriously, if you are gonna stunt, you are going to wear stuff out so don't worry about it.

and the brakes aren't the greatest on them. the fronts are dual pot calipers, but they are only on one side.....they could be upgraded but they get the job done.

if you are a good stunter it shouldn't matter.

honda 600's are good bikes...i know quite a few that rock them. we have one f3 on our team, we are going to go pick up 2 more f3's and another f2 and then another f2 frame this week so we'll have like 5 older 600's for our stunt team this week.

What do you mean about the seats dont have support like a 900?
