Do you NEED to change the sprokets??

Hi guys...
So, can you do most stunts without changing the sprokets on a bike? Can a stock bike do 12's etc.? Or is it just make life easier with the sprokets changed?

thx

It's possible, gears just make it that much easier! Less braking and more control with bigger gears.

You can do it with stock gearing but changing helps out alot, but if you learn with stock gears you can rock with any setup.

A few guys in Long island were rockin' stock gears. Emrock tears up his F4i w/ stock gearing & won the slow wheelie contest.

Has anyone bought the RK 520 chain, 15, 45 tooth combo. And do you recomend it?

isn't 15 stock on the new gixxers? so you'd only be going 3 up and that's not too big of a difference

i was rockin -2 +4 and it was cool for all around riding, but it was killing me when i practiced my slow wheelies, i just don't have the control yet, so i went back to stock and it's much easier for me, only the slow stand ups tho

so do you think the 47 tooth on the rear would be better for rockin' slower wheelies? Don't want to loose too much top end tho!
