12 Bars ---

everyone is talking a lot about the racing 905 cages, but what about their 12 bars?? I really like the way they look on the 905 website ... anyone have one?? do you like it or no? are these adjustable? and what are they costing everyone??

I think they are like $150, but they hook it up as a package deal if you get the cage at the same time....

....I have one and it is great. The 12 bar is designed to be practical for normal street riding as well- they make a bar that mounts to the rear peg mounts and from the top tail mounts to the bar (very stable). there are hole cut out for your taillight to shine through.

Most unique and smart is that the base on your bike has a seperate plate that bolts on. This keeps the base from needing replacement and allows a variety of plate size options.

They are also going to be offering complete replacement subframes with built in 12 bar soon. these will be made of steel and will attach with aluminum bolts so the bolt will break before your bike does.

If you prefer...they will make them however you want. I personally don't like the wheels, but some do at first.

I like the 905 crash cages, but i think there bars are a little to much, and you can't adjust them
