The Galeo Pistol is an exciting new release of the proven Israeli Galil Rifle. Built using original Israeli Surplus Galil parts kits and a new US Milled receiver and short barrel.This new Galil type Pistol is chambered in 223/556 like the original Israeli Military Galil and sports a popular Pistol brace. This is a great option for those who want a compact shooter. If you did want to install a stock, you could obtain NFA Short Barreled rifle approval with the ATF. The Galil family of rifles are operated by a Kalashnikov-pattern gas-driven piston system. The blend of AK-47 reliability with the accuracy of the .556 / 223 round has proven to be very effective in several desert conflicts. The Galil series of weapons is in use with military and police forces in over 25 countries & enjoyed by recreational shooters. There were three base Military models the Galil ARM, Galil AR & Galil SAR. The Micro Galil or MAR rifle was introduced in 1995 and primarily used by Israeli special forces. The current modernized version of this rifles series is the Galil ACE offered in many calibers.

Please Note: Poly hand guard and poly pistol grip are surplus and will show use and character & may vary from pictures. This rifle has been tested for function with a New Tapco Galil mag. Due to the wide variety of varying Spec mags or worn out used condition we strongly recommended using new Tapco magazines. Poor quality magazines may cause multiple issues and is not covered by warranty. We have found quite a few Original Galil mags with weak springs or other issues in circulation. May not come with night sights.

PLEASE NOTE: If you live in a magazine restricted state we remove the hi cap mag and will be glad to substitute with a 10 round mag IF AVAILABLE. If a 10 round mag is not available we will remove the hi cap magazine from the shipment. We cannot ship prohibited magazines to out of state addresses. There will be no substitutions or discounts offered for removal of mags.
