Larger front brake rotors
Hi Guys
First time poster here but been lurking as a non-member for many years.
My bike is at the engineers at the moment getting the cage, scrape bar and a triple caliper with 320mm rear disk made up for my CBR600RR.
When I dropped the bike off at him, he asked if he could make a set of oversized rotors for the front and space out the calipers accordingly, I couldn't think of any excuse to not do it.
So my question is what are the drawbacks to having larger front rotors? As in more than 320mm.
It will make the front brakes more sensitive but the CBRs are known for having shitty front calipers anyway.
Thanks
