0304 dual rear caliper bracket on 17-19 Z900?
0304 dual rear caliper bracket on 17-19 Z900?
Yeah I'm aware Google exist, no I have not been able to locate any "compatibility" charts or something like that.... Yes iv looked up the fitment of the oem caliper bracket. It's pure speculation to see if it would an 03/04 bracket would work with some minor tweaking. Like a bushing to sleeve the axle or some spacers to move caliper(s) or shim out the disk. So with a Beavis & Butthead laugh.. so uhhhhh is like even possible? But seriously if there are some charts or tables floating around somewhere that has info for dual caliper swaps, I'd love to see em. Even if a 03/04 bracket will work, I would likely be further modding it by drilling 2 holes (tapping one) for the sensor that apparently if for the spedo? Yeah idk I don't have the abs model yet there's a sensor and the z900 forum is just.... Idk people are too worried about their elevation from sea level and are preoccupied with their new bar ends I guess. Thanks or something. Plz halp...

And yeah the z9 forums are wack. People talk about modding gearing to PREVENT wheelies lol.

I ended up ordering the OEM bracket for a 03/04 ($12 eBay) just to see the alignment of things but without a caliper my conclusion is again kinda speculation. With that being said, I think it would work just fine. Now before you go ordering something there's another holdup and its related to the bushing needed for making an 03/04 be able to work. Z got a small axel, I think I read it's 18mm and unfortunately I have misplaced my digital harbor freight caliper (the measuring kind) and don't have the numbers to provide you with and funds are kinda tight because Im buying a garage/house .. but yeah thanks for the reply and hopefully this helps you out and leads to a fully stunted z.
