Help my wheelies! Am I doing something wrong?

Whenever I try to wheelie I can never sustain it do to aggressively chopping my throttle.. It always seems to increase my RPS which forces me to stop the wheelie, does anyone have any advice on how to hold it longer?

So can't comment on that.

Could do with some more info on this issue though, like what bike, stock gearing(?), what gear are you doing it in @ what speed.

When you say" increases RPS which forces me to stop the wheelie" do you mean 'RPM' increasing so much you're hitting the limited?
