Beat on it a bit with a rubber mallet to seat it better then try tightening it up again. Make sure all the spacers and bolts are in the right places.

Be very careful and do some googling about how to maintain a cage on your bike as improperly tightened cages on 636's can lead to issues like stripped mounts or even broken frames in extreme cases of neglect and the right drop.

A little research and making sure it's tight every few rides and you should be fine. I love SI cages. Have had 3 on a total of 4 bikes.

This is correct.

My only other things to add would be that your frame/bike was rattle free/straight before hand?
And also the aluminium pucks can rattle on SI cages

Take your time with your 12 bar. You can make them looks good or you can make them look like it was fitted by a kid with Parkinson's

Re: vibration after cage install

i would be carefull with the vibration, if everything is tight just make sure u check everything before u ride to make sure everything is tight, you dont want the engine or handle bars to fall off when your riding down the street

Re: vibration after cage install

I was thinking about this yesterday. Can you give us some more info on what this vibration sounds like?
I think graphic detail is always better when describing bikes/women.
