I need help finding a variety of parts for my buddy's 02 zx6. It looks like the 98 - like 06 or so zx6 frames and engines are all the same as far as mounting points, and dimensions and such go, is that true? As far bolting a cage and subcage goes I mean. My friend picked up an 02 sixxer CHEAP for a starter stunt bike and Im thinking any of the 636 cages and subcages would bolt up, cause a 636 is pretty much just a fuel injected bored out version of its predecessor right? No frame changes? (2013 636 excluded)

I used the search and found nothing on the subject, but did find a funny thread some kid started when he thought he bought a "real 636" but actually only a 6. And needed to know what parts to get for he does alot a stunt shows this year hahah

 

Pretty sure the cages for 2003 and up will NOT fit your 2002. Except for the ZZR 600 which was basically the continuation of the 98-02 ZX6R.
Also 03-04 636 and 05-06 636 use different cages unless it is a FI cage that may work..
