2008 zx6r stuntbike build

hey everyone.. converting a 2008 zx6r to stunt for Ride of the Century this year.. l have a few questions... one im having a hard time finding some chain and sporckets.. preferably 55t-60.. another question since im converting this to a naked bike.. what do you guys do with the wires and how can i clean it up to look great. i dont like the wires hanging down. and where do you guys mount the speedo... also thinking about getting rid of key all together. anyone do that before?.. any info would be greatly appreciated....

btw.. i already have the cage and subframe getting made for me...

Thanks

On my gsxr, I tucked the wires up behind my headlight. For the speedo I did the same thing. Throw in a few well placed zip ties and whala, streetfighter!

Have you checked eBay for sprockets?

Heres the easiest way to get the wires out of the way on the 08. Pull the tank and the airbox and run the wires behind the frame and over the radiator. It's impossible to do this if you don't remove the airbox because you can't fit your hand in there

Are you going pure stunt or combo street. I just unplugged my harness and went gauge and headlight free. Just modified my stock harness for a streetfighter headlight and working on a mount tight to the neck utilizing the factory mounting locations for the gauges.

P.s. Don't buy a TMS headlight if you don't plan on modifying all the wiring and bulbs. Only took 2 minutes to melt the sockets and start a small fire in the right side marker light and left headlight shorted burning out my headlight relay. Just finished converting it to mr16 bulbs(20w turn colored yellow and dual 50w headlights from home depot for $24) but paid $15 for the headlight and $24 to modify it. Not bad!
