i dont want to spend the$$$$$ on after market clip ons has anyone fliped there stocks ones and how do they feel

 

u cant really do that, cuz of the end ( round part) of the clip on to the Grove of the triple tree..... However if u grind it and make it round and maybe grind the grove of the triple i think it will be good to go....But IMO doesnt make sense, will break easy, just buy clip ons, the bars are really strong too

 

Ive heard of ppl doing that before and apparently it works. But not as strong as aftermarket. Also clip on tubes are wayyy cheaper to replace.

 

I just flipped mine on my R6. You have to alternate them when you flip them and get a longer bolt to go in the triple. You also have to drill a hole for the peg in the throttle controls. Definitely not the best method. But it works. They definitely feel more comfortable though. Throw down on aftermarket after you break those though!

 

had mine snap while stunting very scary on my 03 r6
