First id like to say hi. im not new to this forum but im finally buying my first stunt bike. On friday im picking up a 05 636. Its got alot of good parts already, just needs some cleaning up and paint. Ive been riding for about 4 years and decided to sell the 07 r6 and buy a stunt bike. Sooo to my question.

Sinse its cold as hell out I thought id clean it up and id like to find some good info on cleaning up the stock wiring harness. I want to possibly shorten some stuff up and remove things like head light harness and any other things that aren't even on the bike anymore.

Ive been looking for a while and found some diagrams of the wire harness but find it hard to believe no one has posted a how to do it yet. all else fails maybe I will write my own up thanks!

Started tearing into the bike. Holy **** . Missing nuts and bolts, hopefully I dont find more. But its nothing I cant order.

The wiring harness is a mess. Since it doesnt have a brake light or turn signals there are connectors everywhere. Debating if its worth tearing into .......

Hi. nice bike! Never done it, but people tuck front harness in airbox. Never seen it in person either, maybe do a search on "airbox harness" or "airbox wires" on this site.

 

Started tearing alittle more into it. Lots of looking in the manual and tracing wires. Just getting all the tape off is a pain. Shouls be able to cut 5 plugs off and loose a few feet of wire. im not to concerned about the front end right now since its neatly tucked away right now.

If I could get rid of that exhaust valve that would give me lots of room. any advise on that,be great
