lol stupid question I know....I just need to know. Headed to pick up a bike this weekend and can only find a jeep Grand cherokee to take I'm thinking I can take off the front end and rear tire and toss it in the back if the seats are removed I'm pretty sure it will fit fine but I would like to at least get a rough estimate.

 

Get some people to help mount that bitch to the top of that

thats what I'm thinking, its got a subcage and cage on it already so even if it had to be tilted to the side I'm gonna make it happen. Another dumb question but if I had to choose a side to tilt it on, would I want to lay it down on the right or left side? I'm thinking left but that was just because I was thinking about the handbrake but considering its going to be off the fork that wouldn't matter. so yeah its a matter of how the oil would sit in the engine for a 7 hr drive

 

Doesn't matter which side if it's got a cage on it... Maybe lay
a chunk of cardboard down before you roll it in there....

I definitely wouldnt be able to fit a bike into my Grand Cherokee. Unless you strip the whole thing down.

 

just need to take the front wheel off, slide the forks out of the triples, take the rear wheel off and BOOM. 636 in a Grand Cherokee...

 

if it's on the right side for a long time there is a chance all the oil will drain out of the oil pump..

make sure it's sitting upright for a while before you start it and make sure the oil light goes out, some times the pump can get an air bubble ..

if the oil light stays on for more than a few seconds you may have to burp the system by loosening the oil pump and cranking the bike over till oil shoots out of the filter ..
