Little of advise: learn to spell.

And put in plenty of seat time.

Re: lerning costers

How slow are u at bp? Try not to work the clutch too much, use brake and throttle. Just start by doin some wide circles and then over time bring them in tighter. Use the weight on ur feet to lean the bike and not much ur body. It will feel pretty strange at first but in a few months u should have it. And btw, i wouldnt make a goal to ride 12 until u learn the other basics... u will scrape eventually on accident and then u can just play it off like you meant to do it haha.

Re: lerning costers

Well i agree that parkin 12 is cool, i deffinatley think workin on them circles first will get u way more comfortable with the bike.

And when u say ur clutchin it, do u mean its boggin out and ur saving it? Cause that would be ok.
And 1 down 1 up is pretty close to stock. You can learn on it, but it would make life easier to get somthin above 50 in the rear.

Nice dimond plate btw, havnt seen that before

i would suggest not to let that old truck tool box get a hold of your skin...when it rips the **** out of you...your going to regret putting that on.

Re: lerning costers

Well u got to look at it this way, u can work the hb/clutch only if ur good. I personally dont need to clutch at all once i get it started. I just turn my idle up to around 3500 and usually when i get on the brake, its only a tap u know. Occasionally i grab that clutch to save my ***, but other than that, i love the engine brake.

and when ur goin to scrape 12, it all depends on the speed really. i was just doin it last night and im thinkin when i was goin real slow id pull the clutch, ride the rb, scrape, then tap the rb and as the front drops, i would pop the clutch to make sure it stayed up. that wa at like a dead stop though.

any faster and u could leave the clutch alone.

Re: lerning costers

Word up, ya u deffinately need a hb for all of the above.. u gotta "get ur feet on that seat". Thats wat my buddies always told me. It can be done from ss, but damn, WAY HARDER.. and u will find out that hoppin off the seat is way easier when u need to bail.

I never even put that much into my hb, im just running a junction valve from my rear master all the way to the "custom" 4 wheeler lever i got goin on. So far, its been all the brake i need. Its still got the power to lock the tire too, just needed a little more fluid and i was good to go.

Re: lerning costers

Thats wat im tryin to say.. u dont need another master. Use the one by ur foot brake. U run a junction valve to that (basically a T valve). So you have ur stock line goin from the caliper to the master, and then u run a new line up to the bars. Very cheap.. u just gotta have a lever that will work that way. It sounds weird, and i cant explain it very good, but the only downfall is that u cant use the foot and handbrake at the same time.. which who would do that?

Re: lerning costers

Jesus ******* Christ this website is getting worse very day. First someone on a stunt forum in 2011 doesn't know what bp is.... ? That was discussed and set in stone back in like 2005. And every question you guys ask has been asked plenty of times before. And if you don't KNOW the answer, DON'T ****** chime in to get your post count up. Go over to Stuntride.com where all the people that care about this sport linger.

What is the actual ******* question here? I'll answer it when I understand what we are here for.. Scraping 12? Parking 12? Coasters? All are a ****** walk in the park. But you definitely gotta start somewhere. So either go to sr.com or do a little searching.

To search on here, go in to advanced search under the search button. Click the arrow under the search box in there so it says :titles only". Then search for basic things like "coaster" or "scraping 12". Good luck.
