Happened to my bike too...with the light and everything. I just waited some and then tried it. Then waited some more then tried it, then waited some more and it started right up. Could be the tip sensor still triggering or something. Maybe its the bike's way of letting us reflect on what we just did to it....

im starting to think the plugs got wet or something the bike is getting closer to starting im gonna try and take the plugs out and turn over the engine and see if it will get rid of oil or extra gas that is down in the plug area. i found out the code was because i had the air box unplugged.

more then likey its the plugs only thing that sucks it you run irdium plugs in f4i so its like $20 per plug..... you can plug them try to clean them off but more than likey there just fouled out...good thing is F4i's are tanks so it will be something minor to fix and she'll crank right up, good luck bro

Re: F4I wont start help with codes

well i finally got the bike started on 2 different occasions both times I let it warm up for 5 mins or so then gave a little bit of gas and it stalled out. before I go and spend $120 on new plugs Im hoping you guys can give me a few other options to try out. or should I just go get new plugs I would hate to spend the cash and the bike still not be running

Re: F4I wont start help with codes

im not sure why you think it's plugs , if the bike wasnt running when it tipped over there really isnt any way for oil to get in there unless you left it tipped over for hours

i know my buddies 01 had a switch of some sort up around the triple clamp that is intended to shut off the fuel in case of crash (which he did) he reset that switch and it fired up like it was nothing...worth a shot
