anyone ever shipped one? i sellin one with 3500 miles on it, manual cam chain tensioner, and oil pick up. i got ppl asken me bout shipping it places. id assume u gotta crate and palet it? anyone ever do it and how much did it cost to ship from where ur at to wherever?

all you need to do is buy a $10 big tubaware plastic tub with a lid and use that. just use a bunch of ducktape oR even better, some rope to tie the lid down real good. FedEx and UPS are about the same but UPS is better bc they allow rope on their packages (fed ex dont!... gay). i've shipped motors from KY to CA for a little over $100 to a business address. if it's a residential address you're shipping it to, then it's about 15 bux more. use a bunch of crushed boxes to make sure the motor is in the tub firmly. oh, and take off the air box, throttle bodies, and radiator before you put it in the tub or you'll damage it. they have many different size tubs for sale at walmart and even some with wheels built on them (those are the best to roll around as the motors is around 100 lbs.)
