Yeah I read a couple of other forums and people say that to switch a 954 motor to a 929 frame all you need to do is swap the throttle body and air box but im wondering if the same applies to the opposite.

the frames are the same so ya you can do it. the reason you need to swap the air box and throttle bodies on the 929 to 954 conversion is due to the throttle bodies being taller on the 954 motor.
