Exclamation Big rev problem

I have this problem with my CBR 600RR from 2005. Whenever i get it from neutral to 1st gear, the revs go so high(sometimes to 4000-5000r/s), and when i switch back to neutral or i hold the clutch they go down... It's been giving me a great headake and risk on circle wheelies, so any of you guys could help me ?

Re: Big rev problem

Not exactly outta nowhere. Only if i rotate the idle to 4000rpm and i open the throttle, after i decelerate it is late in coming back to 4000. instead it stays to about 5000 and gets back very slowly to what it used to be.Does that make sense?

Re: Big rev problem

I' ve just read that was very helpful. But what happens if i only disconnect the pink wire from the ECU and i leave the original speedometer connected like before? Will the speedometer still show me the temperature, oil, gas etc? or it will be dead?
