handbrake ?s

i was wondering if its really worth all the money for a dual caliper setup on my gixxer. ive heard a lot of people say on a single caliper setup you cant have constant pressure in the foot and hand and i was wondering how true that is?

Re: handbrake ?s

in my opinion its better to have a dual caliper setup because
- way easier to bleed
- if for some reason something goes wrong with one you always have the other to stop you
- running a 4 piston on the rear takes a lot less work from your hand to stop or slow yourself, keeping arm pump down
- its hard to get an adapter to seal and not leak
-Youll eventually get a dual caliper anyways and its not much more money

Let me know if you need one

+1 I just bought a dual cal bracket from naarden and its the ****. I started with the dual caliper in the first place and i rode some bikes without it and i really like the dual setup much better. If you have the cash buy the dual quad bracket from naarden and get another caliper you won't regret it!

Re: handbrake ?s

i think having 2 calipers i almost pointless. Having a good 4 piston caliper is the most important thing. This discussion comes up about once a week so if you want to read hundreds of biased opinions just use the search.

Personal preference and whatever makes the rider feel comfortable. Some people just arent comfortable having the HB over ride the Foot or visa vera.
