Re: ? peg Question?

alot of people like the esd pegs , i personally run stock pegs , the esd pegs are strong as hell and are thicker but i dont really think the difference is that big of a deal ...

the only real advantage to esd is the fact that they have flat delrin ends and will not stab you like a stock peg will

point taken... pun intended i guess i could have said i see your point but in all seriousness i fold my pegs up when doing stoppies for just that reason , i dont really worry too much about getting stabbed in any other situation

Re: ? peg Question?

i would suggest the esd as well. yea they are a lil pricey but you shouldn't ever have to buy another set for that bike. i've never seen anyone break an esd. i'm runnin them on my bike and have for a long while now... believe me they've taken quite a beating and are still basically brand new in every possible way.

Re: ? peg Question?

if you do run the esd pegs make sure you replace the stock pins that hold your pegs on with a grade 8 or better bolt and a lock nut , this will double the strength of the tabs that hold your pegs in becuase it will tie the two tabs together , the esd pegs are longer and that adds alot of leverage which puts more stress on the tabs that hold your pegs ..

Re: ? peg Question?

yea, i had to do that to install mine. i couldn't even get the stock pins to work at all. they were too short for some reason. they have been great so far though.
