Re: stoppie help!!!!!!!!!

agreed. everytime i try to pull em 2nd gear fast-ish i end up pulling to the left with the rear of the bike falling to the right.

if i try them slow and really focus like 1st gear lot type stoppies they come out straight as can be. but everytime i throw a 2nd gear off the hip just ******* around on the street i get all crossed up and i hate it.

id say its something to do with technique and how much you're concentrating on it. every little twitch seems to change so much. imma try a gpr instead of my stick type stablizer and see if that helps any.

Re: stoppie help!!!!!!!!!

Without seeing you attempt them, I would say for sure you prolly arent at balance point. Once you are there its pretty easy to steer. Also, when you bang that bitch up drive your hands towrds the front wheel (some ppl say lock you arms) but this is what works for me mang!!!i also grip the tank with my knees and everything you do from the appraoch to being at bp has to be instant....thats all i got!!

Im with shotgun... I was just like you 2 guys when i first started them, simply not high enough. I still cant get really light on the lever but im getting close and the closer you are the easier it is to steer.

Re: stoppie help!!!!!!!!!

yeah that's how it is with my 50 and i agree. snap fast and grip hard with the knees but its just so damn scary. haha, theres no safety on stoppies and ive seen one too many people flip over. guess i should keep it to my 1st gears til my confidence is up
