Talking 1000rr Front end Conversion . . .

Anyone know what should be my first step in swapping out my stock 600rr front end to a 1000rr. . . . . intrested in bigger rotors for better stoppies..... anyone ever done this on a 05 cbr600rr

yeah i keep hearing the same thing but i also hear rumors of people converting the front end into 1000rr cause of bigger rotors and better breaking power for stoppies...

im not a big roller or nothing but i dont think you really need bigger rotors to roll good . on stock f4i front i roll 239 off 160 and f4i fronts suck.

You can use any year 1000rr forks. But why would you want to? It's an 05 600rr so it already has inverted forks. There's really no need to put 1000rr forks on unless you are bored and have alot of extra money laying around.

how i see it is bigger stronger brakes means its touchy . i like to have some play .
