Re: flipped clip ons

its a more comfortable set-up and puts your body in a better postion of control... i have a 05 R6 with turn and flipped 636 clip-ons (left on right, right on left)...... one of the best set-ups ive ever ran and i still have all stock controls on them

did you have to mill or machine your triple? aren't there screws on the backside of your clip ons that bolt into the triple? what did you do in that sense when you flipped them?

Re: flipped clip ons

There are some position bolts tabs on the bottom of the clipons that you have to cut off and drill a little hole for your startstop switch housing but thats it.

it looks like to me in that pix that the clip-ons where just flipped.. i.e. the left is still on the left and the right is still on the right which puts the bar behind the fork instead of in front of like stock... which all and all really doesnt make a huge difference and long as everything clears.... what most ppl do is turn and flip... i.e. there flipped upsidedown but u put the left on the right and the right on the left which keeps them just like stock except the angle of the bars is going up.... again thats just how they look to me in that pix
