06 636 integrated cluster into tank
Re: 06 636 integrated cluster into tank
well here is a summary of what i did hope some of these pics will help;;(ps dont try if your not machanically smart and cant figure **** out by yourself)
took my cluster and cut the tabs on the back off flush with the cluster then drilled them out with around 1/2 in bit (got gromets that fit in the hole and let the t nuts go through)take t nuts (get 2 screws that fit these) epoxy the t nuts into the cluster you have to take it apart to do this

**
**

*****i used diamond plate cause i had some extra. could use sheet metal and i drilled holes to line up with the holes on the cluster so i had something to screw the cluster too.will have to cut a notch so the plug can still work

**
**then i cut into the air box to make it where i could still change the filter and it did not affect perfomance pretty much cut the angle and use any means to seal the box i took diamond plate and bent it then pop rivited it to the air box and on all my gaps and seams i used hot glue to seal it then spray painted it black

/
**
**then took my cluster with bracket and poprivited onto the air box so i could still remove it by the 2 screws in the cluster

**then once securley mounted cut a hole in my gas tank cover

**
** hope this helps i know my grammer sucks and also not all the info to make it is here one of those things you just gotta commit and do your best may need to bend the metal more or angle difrently but i did it with no help no information and no pictures so with this information hopefully you can complete yours and like it if you do plz post pics
