Alright AJ, I'll gert serious for a minute.
1. A cbr 1000rr is not gonna be a good bike to get started on stunting. There is just too much *** in that thing. Plus you gotta remember, expensive bike=expensive parts to replace.
2. with every modification you do to the bike to prep for stunting buy an adequate piece of gear. Bike parts can be replaced but scars last forever
3. instead of asking what to use on the bike and being arrogant about it, use the search button. I'm not even a huge member here but I used the search and found many threads on getting into the hobby/way of life.
4. there is no acura prelude. I had to throw this in here.
5. make sure you have money. one thing that will go at some point is the plastics and i know they aren't cheap.
6. in relation to #2, get some:

-unpainted plastics to put on so you don't mess up the oem fairings
-crash cage
-bar ends
-frame sliders
-round bar
-good full face dot/snell helmet
-gloves
-shoes
-pants
-light jacket
-i'd get some shorty adjustable levers
-steering damper
-steel braid brake lines
-enough "reserve" money so when the bike does go down or if a sprocket or anything goes bad, you can replace it. I know bike parts arent cheap.
-if the front fork can handle the abuse you'll put on it or if it'll be better to buy a beefed up fork that can handle abuse

i'm no pro and like i said i dont claim to be but these are things i'd think about investing in before i do anything. and don't forget to browse around the site and read up on other people's mistakes and learning curves. anything that you can read up on that will widen your knowledge on the subject can only be beneficial. good luck and i will be back to ride your *** some more.

all the newbies in this thread that really take time to type out what they think and give this guy advice are pretty funny. If you type more then three sentences towards aj tellin you have wasted another minute or minutes of your life

I'm still reading this thread, I started last night and I only made it to page 5, most of the time was spent wipeing tears off my face and holding my stomach.... did anyone notice on page 2 or 3 he says he "made his motorcycle license"? or by his avatar it says "pro stunter"? this dude cant be serious! either way its still great!

i now have concluded that this is someone messing arround. There are to many inconsistancies in his typing. for instance if he tpyed "i like to stunt cbr 1000" he types it 3 or 4 different ways like:
"I like stunt cbr 1000"
"I like to stunt a cbr 1000"
"I stunt like cbr 1000"
