I have an 06 636 I am setting up. I have the stock exhaust on there. Just wanna get an Idea of what people suggest. From your experience whats the best exhaust for a street stunter?

Re: What exhaust would u run?

stock exhaust is the best thing for that bike. keeps it quiet, helps keep the pigs off your back. provides the nice low end and can serve as a pretty durable scrape bar. i ran stock on both of my 636's and wouldnt consider anything else.

agreed , that bike pulls hardest on idle with the stock exhaust and the valve hooked up

pull your front seat off, turn key on and look for the stop sign lookin thing that moves, the 2 wires that its pulling when it turns is connected to a valve on your exhaust. Leave those lines hooked up

there is a valve that opens and closes in the stock exhaust that gives good low end power when it's closed and good top end power when it's open , when i said hooded up i meant to live it stock and dont unhook it

Re: What exhaust would u run?

He's talking about the servo. Should be hooked up if it hasnt been messed with. Just a valve in the exhaust that controls air flow. If you look at the exhaust under the tail you should be able to see the cables that go to it.

Sounds good to me. Good for the bike and my pocket. Can't beat that. Thanks for the quick responses.

Run the hose to the 2 lines i unplug from the airbox and cap the vaccum line with a screw. leave the T piece open where I unplugged the vaccum line. O, and cap the holes in the airbox. ****, i thought i had it. Now i just confused myself. Damn, off to read it again.
