What do yall experinced riders think would be good sprocket size for learnin slow wheelies?

Iv had a grip of poeple tell me learn them stock but im tryin to keep the wheelie under 25 mph but with the stock sprocket i gota be goin like 10 mphs then clutch it up or it bogs down if its under 10mphs unless i slingshot it up. just more seat time with it stock? or jump up with teeth and learn it that way?

A 60th is the most sold for that bike at my place

 

Regarldess of gearing you should be clutching it hard straight to balance point

IMO I'd say stock gearing tell you can rock under 20mph steady, then think about gearing.

But if you wanna gear up, anywhere from +5 to +15

 

no i can rock stock but my pref is something a little more extreme. if you do gear it it will be way more twitchy and hard to be smooth....

when i first started i had an 05 gix6 and the throttle was very responsive...had a 62 tooth and everyone called me the jerky turkey lol...true! so going huge on a 636 to start out and learn on might not be the best way to start off...i dont know how long you have riden, but somewhere in the low to mid 50's is way more than enouph to straight murder it w/......

 

alright cool. im gona learn the balance point stock then move up

I run a 58, but if youre just starting to wheelie at all then stick with stock.
