zx6r chain info

im curantly runin a 14 tooth front and a 45 rear i think my chain is around 115 links i got a 15 tooth and a 60 i wanna put on but the longest chain i can get is 125 link. is ther anyone elts on here runin a 60 tooth how many links do i need? is 130 enuff to do it?

i have a 62 rear and a stock front and they usually send me a 130 link chain that is too long so i cut a few links off so i would say 130 will be plenty long enough ..

phil at motoheaven can get you any size chain you want and he will know how many links you will need

thanks u just saved me like 80$ i thought i might need to buy to short chains, i can get a 120 at the shop closest to me for around 125$ and i have a 5 link piece leftover from another chain so i should be good to go

using old chain with new chain can end up costing you more then just getting teh right size to begin with , chain stretches and can wear your brand new sprockets very quickly ..

when you get new sprockets you should always replace both front and rear sprockets and a new chain

i know that, i got a peice leftover from last year wene i put a new chain on my 1980 fxwg id never use a streached chain on any of my bikes
i goin whith a 530 instead of the 520 caus i could get a better deal on my sprockets
