that suxs man, i had a simmilar thing happen to me last year. just got done doing a show went for a quik street ride and then it started rattling in the top end. took it apart and the cam guides were just tore up. crap part of it was i had a show the very nxt weekend

ummm... atown... im half tempted to bring u my **** for a weekend and u can atown it out... im andrews older bro and one of the guys in town looking for an atown cage for my 07 zx6r... i hate my sick cage... and sry for thread jacking... but yes the valves were outta adjustment... andrew felt it bog down and pinned rev limiter causing catastrophic fail of the top end... if he woulda just shut it off it probably could been saved... but **** happens

 

Kenny sorry but the subcage will not happen he will make a cage but i can promise he will not make a subcage it is the same as the 05-06 636 so....just saying anyway maybe even a bar and brace but no subcage.

 

yoim in need of a bar/ brace whatev... i have nothing back there... id like to have a foot plate back there honestly... on the tip of the tail kinda like a bar... the foot hole i have in my seat isnt far back enough... im 6'3" and the 07 zx6 is short!!! and whats up with not making a subcage?

Hey man if you got any buddies in AZ that could go check this motor out for you I would look into it. $500 isn't a bad price for what the R6 motors go for. Supposedly only has 2K miles and is out of an 07 s. Everything thing else on E-gay, craigs list and on the R6 forum I've seen so far is $1K and a little over. So hopefully you know someone down there that could go inspect it for you.

Sorry never mind, didn't see all the cracks, those pics didn't load the first time around. Case is cracked near the timing chain cover.
