squid here! need help
Hey guys, new to stuntin and it looks like this is the place to be! Anyway I'm rockin a fightered out 93 FZR 600, r6 rear swing arm, r1 front brakes, pro taper bars, I love the bike! But when I go to clutch it up half the time she will be butter and come right up, but sometimes she bogs and dies out, like I'm shorting out the ignition when I jolt it up?! I'm open to any advice and tips!

fzr isn't a good stunt bike, I had one as my first bike (but I never stunted it cause really they are bad!)
the trannys are garbage, rear tire is skinny, forks are junk. Not good at all
Your carbs need rebuilt, needles need inspected. Gas with 10% ethanol starts to break down in as little as 6-8 weeks! If you left gas in there more then a few months, then it's definitely plugged up.
You can attempt to just pull the carbs off, pull the float bowl off, pull all the jets out and soak them in carb cleaner and blow them out with compressed air.. Then also inspect the emulsion tubes for wear, and also inspect the needles. If the emulsion tubes are worn, that will DEFINITELY cause running problems and you'll never get it running right without replacing them.. Emulsion tubes run about $20 a piece x4..
Do you have a stock exhaust and stock air box?

also check out www.fzrarchives.com, they will be able to give you specific help.
Anytime you plan on storing your bike more then a month, you NEED to at the very least drain the fuel from the carbs.. If you store it more then 2 months you should also drain the fuel.
It's a lot easier to drain the fuel for storage, then to tear it all apart and clean 4 carbs!

Re: squid here! need help
The carbs are probably a little dirty, I havent ripped into them yet, right now its on stock air box ( that wasnt even connected) But i fixed that, and its straight piped, ( just bought a shortened YZF pipe), like I said, im just learning the basics on this bike, its got an r6 rear swing arm and rim and tire, so its wide..and R1 front forks and brakes, so that is good. Let me just say that my passenger pegs are my best friends :D My voltage regulator is shot, letting 18 volts go through, got an R6 one on the way, just put a new battery in it. Ill update soon.
