For anyone who still has their stunt bike street legal full fairing or street fighter, where do you relocate your mirrors to?

 

i think that mirrors are ugly on bikes, you cant trust them anyway. even if you keep them on, i hope that you are still looking before changing lanes. the only thing i hate about removing them, is not being able to see behind me while sitting at a light.

I have bar end mirrors on my dirt bars and take them off with a single allen at the spot. $15 on ebay

Always look back before changing lanes though! Mirrors are just to keep it streetable.

I just don't run mirrors, cops around here don't give us problems for no mirrors, I haven't had mirrors in 4 years

 

here in jersey you gotta have mirrors, and you gotta turn your head and check. the way people drive is insane. a car can be in the other lane you want to change to, but 100 feet behind, and when you hit that turn signal, by the time you go to change lanes, they floor it so that you cant, and they are in your blind spot. plus if you are not doing 15 over the limit ppl behind you will put their bumper right up to your 12 bar.

Been using hand signals for 4 years now, and I honestly DO use my hands almost every turn I make

Cops are pretty lax here.. Gotta be speeding, riding wreckless, or not running a plate to get pulled over

ohhh trust me. you NJians are notorious throughout NE for your driving skills.

If anything stick with the turn signals. 1. theyre required for inspections, and it gets to be a pain in the *** to rewire that **** every year just for inspection. specially here in mass cuz we have to have those fugly extended ones or you fail. but i like my flushmounts. 2. Remember, everybody else on the road are morons. just cuz you signal left, right, stop with your hand dont mean A. the semi behind you is paying attention B. the semi behind you knows wth any of those signals mean. 3. Why waist much needed energy by stretching your arm when you can simply flick your thumb? keep the signals.

I had a YZF426 on the road that had NO lights, brake lights, mirrors, turn signals, side stand, speedo or anythin.

And thats legal over here in the UK.

Yeah i ride on the streets.. I dont even have registration or insurance. Like MikeM said I dont talk to the cops anyway...

Better question is do you ride on the street w/o hurting yourself lmao.

 

nothing good comes from talking to cops, and theyre the only people that care about mirrors. So if you avoid them, then you dont need mirrors.
