DB bars? Yea, or Nay?

I'm fairly new to the scene (been stunting 1 year).
I ride an 02 F4i.

Only mods:
Brembo rear hand brake,
Thrust 56 tooth sprocket,
-1 front sprocket,
Shaved windscreen,
12 bar,
Sick Innovations cage.

My Question:

Should I go for db bars?
Why do people use them?
Are the riders that use them previously db riders?
Is it just hype?
Some pros have them, others do not, so does it matter?
I don't know the advantage of having them so I can't decide if I should bother trying them....

Thanks!

Good point!

So basically, it's just a preference thing then, huh?

Re: DB bars? Yea, or Nay?

There are reasons for it.. Stoppies room ect.. But All it comes down to is preference yes... Some people hate bikes with Clip ons... And some hate Dirt bars and think they should stay on dirt bike..

Re: DB bars? Yea, or Nay?

its all about preferance, i dont like em, i prefer jus flipped clip-ons or the new gangster woodcraft clip-ons with the risers so you dont have to drop your front end they are .... But i think there are a ton of threads about this if you do a search

Now go figure out how the AMAZING SEARCHfeature works before you post a "whats the best cage?" thread or anything else that has been discussed a couple hundred times.

Re: DB bars? Yea, or Nay?

i learned to ride with db's but once i started doing tank circles they held me back...so i switched to clip-ons and that made a huge difference

Re: DB bars? Yea, or Nay?

Love em. Less room on my 636 though they are too close to the seat. Still worth it to me though.
