01 r1 question

is there a censor on the forks or something that causes it to not start when its been in a wreak? i turns over just wont start

if it was a decent wreck you could have screwed up the tilt sensor, very odd ones on those bikes...

Check the carbs havn't fell off the inlet rubbers, i stunted a 00 r1 for a year and every time it pancaked the carbs fell off.

It's a r6 and it acts like it's not getting gas and won't start Evan if you put gas on the carb it's cause it's a yamaha

my bad it wasnt a r1 it was a r6 does that matter and i dont think it was wreked bad thats my opinion the forks were almost touching the raditor but they werent and the motor turnsover it just wont fire up fuses are good and

mod the tip senser and see if that works

just read it on a r6 website were is it located? under the seat?

ugghh f3s got fuel pumps too check your wires and your fuses and make shure that the carb is properly seated in the manifold and the air box in fitted right what does it sound like when you try to satrt it does it back fire pop the start then shut offf more details please

it doesnt back fire pop etc etc wires and fuses are all there and intack the carb is properly on the manifold the airbox is fitted right and when you try to start it it just cranks and cranks like it trying to start but does not start

sound like its the pump dude get yourself a manuel and replace the fuel pump im shure thats the problem i think

k ill do that when i get if i get it i havent bought it yet didnt want to screw my self and do you or any one on here know were i could get one? for kinda cheap ive looked on bike bandit and parts unlimted and there like 300-400 dollars and im not going to yamaha to get becuase there prices are outrageous any help works thanks
