i'm looking to buy my first stunt bike, right now i'm looking at an 04 f4i clean title 12000mi looks minty with a subcage but no stunt parts for 3800. but i notice most of the f4i's posted on here are 01's...... are 04's better... worse...

yep, same exact bike. If u want split seat u gotta buy subframe too.

 

yup,01-03 has the split seat tail which everyone wants cause they look way better,04-06 has the banana seat that looks pretty gay,but like jcf4i said, you can just buy a subframe,tailsection,and both seats from an 01-03 and swap it out if ya don't like the look,oh and the other difference is the frame and subframe color...the newer ones are brushed aluminum and the older ones are satin black.

he cuts a piece of a nana seat and covers the two parts of it with genuine leather jacket and voila! a split seat

i cant afford that one, they want 3800 for it its minty and all, has a cage thats it.... but its just out of my pricerange... looked at one with the monster fairings, and he almosted traded me for my 02sv650s and some cash... but no luck

 

sell that sv dude I like the way the 01-03s look satin black frame looks way cleaner and is easier to maitain if you dont feel like powdercoating and it has a split seat already I have no prob with the bannana but it reminds me of my last bike a honda cbr f2 its like a dirtbike lol
