well i got me a main harness for the bike and was wondering what else ill need to make this thing ridable. im using a gsxr front end so i dont have any ignition switch or the front headlight harness. i got starter relay and all that. someone told me that if i dont have everything hooked up to the harness it wont run... do i need to buy gauges and headlight harness or is that bs? and i hear about this diode in the honda ignition, but iv seen people with toogle swithes on their f4i stuntbikes... do i need anything special in order to get it running? i got the main harness the engine sensor harness the starter relay and thats it for now. i dont wanna go buy a bunch of junk i dont need, planned on jumping the tilt sensor wires and wasnt planning on running any lights at all. just want a basic stuntbike with least **** on it as possible. any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

 

You Dont need gauges or headights... Also, to bypass the tip sensor-connect the red and green wires together,let the white one hang(or cut it short and tape it off).I just eliminated a ton of wiring from my F4ez,take your time and test to see if the fuel pump primes,and the bike starts and runs after every wire or harness you disconnect.Invest in a service manual or get a wiring schematic for the f4i,If you don't you'll go insane tryin to figure out what each and every wire is for.

 

there is supposed to be a diode that sends a seven volt signal to the ecu, but with the right resistor inline with a switch, you should be able to just use switches. Youll also need to connect two wires where the kill switch used to be, and set up a starter button. The starter button is 4 wires but you only need two. THe other two just disconnect power to the headlights, so if you ever plan on havin lights youll have to connect those two also. Will be a headache but youll get it. Download the pdf service manual and flip to page 20, then print it out. YOull need it.

wheel axle forks clamps clips and twisthrotle and all the brakes
